A show by Tone Loc in Des Moines, Iowa, on Saturday was brought to abrupt end after the rapper collapsed on stage.
The Des Moines Register reports the 47-year-old rapper collapsed during a concert performance at the city's Bridge Bash event.
Three employees of the newspaper were at the concert and said Tone Loc had just finished a song when he fell to the ground. The rapper was attended to for about five minutes before fans were asked to leave and the show was canceled. Tone Loc refused to go the hospital. There's no word on what exactly caused the rapper to collapse.
Tone Loc, whose birth name is Anthony Terrell Smith, has reportedly suffered various health issues in the past few years. TMZ reports he was previously hospitalized after on-stage collapses in 2009 and 2011.
