RAYE opened the 60th Montreux Jazz Festival with a guest-filled performance that brought Alicia Keys and Mark Ronson to the stage.
During the set, Ronson joined RAYE for a performance of “Uptown Funk,” the 2014 hit he released with Bruno Mars. He also appeared for “Suzanne,” his recent collaboration with RAYE. The moment added a familiar pop touch to a show built around RAYE’s live band and jazz-influenced arrangements.
Later in the concert, Alicia Keys appeared to perform “If I Ain’t Got You,” one of her signature songs. She then stayed onstage with RAYE for “Oscar Winning Tears,” giving the crowd one of the night’s biggest moments.
The performance helped launch a milestone edition of the Swiss festival, which has long been known for bringing together jazz, soul, pop, and rock artists. RAYE’s set leaned into that history, mixing her own material with nods to classic live performance and the festival’s wide musical identity.
